In just six years, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation’s premier cycling event  has raised more than $10 million for cancer research at The Ottawa Hospital, making it the most successful single-day cancer fundraiser in Eastern Ontario. Together riders have helped fund new therapies and the opening of the Centre for Innovative Cancer Research (CICR), and have enabled patients to benefit from clinical trials faster than ever before.

YOGA ON TAP is happy to provide post ride yoga + spend some time chatting about why the powers of movement and breathe are beneficial for both cycling and cancer healing alike. Congrats on all the 2016 participants! We raised over $1.3M with our efforts! Looking forward to seeing you on the bike in 2017!

Through our involvement with Beau’s Oktoberfest Charity Bike Ride each September/October we are happy to raise money for United Way Ottawa and United Way Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry to help kids be all that they can be by ensuring they have access to programming during critical hours.  The time spent outside of school is as crucial to child development as time spent in the classroom. United Way invests in programs and initiatives like homework clubs, summer camps and many others that help kids in at-risk neighbourhoods be their best.
